How to Give

Detailed giving instructions for donors and patrons of San Miguel Literary Institute.

The easiest way to give is through our secure online portal hosted on Cvent. We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) as well as ACH bank transfers.

Visit www.cvent.com and search for San Miguel Literary Institute to access our giving page. You will receive an automatic email receipt immediately upon completing your gift.

Checks should be made payable to San Miguel Literary Institute and mailed to the address below. Please include your name, address, and the purpose of your gift (e.g., “scholarship fund” or “general support”) in the memo line.

Processing time for check donations is typically 7–10 business days. You will receive a written acknowledgment by mail within 30 days.

For gifts of $5,000 or more, we are pleased to accept ACH or domestic/international wire transfers. Please use the placeholder routing information below and contact us in advance to confirm your transfer.

If you have a donor-advised fund with Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, or another DAF sponsor, you may recommend a grant to San Miguel Literary Institute at any time.

To recommend a grant, log in to your DAF account and search for San Miguel Literary Institute by name or EIN. Our EIN is XX-XXXXXXX (placeholder — contact us to confirm). Please designate the grant for “general support” or specify a program area such as scholarships.

Tax Receipt Information

San Miguel Literary Institute is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. A written acknowledgment is provided for all gifts of $250 or more as required by the IRS.

Donors who give online will receive an automatic email receipt immediately. Donors who give by check or wire will receive a written acknowledgment within 30 days of the receipt of their gift. Please retain your receipt for tax purposes.
